How do I upload an avatar/profile picture?
1. Go to MY ACCOUNT (upper toolbar).
2. Select SETTINGS.
3. Click on PROFILE PICTURE.
4. Select BROWSE (Note: the picture must be on your computer)
5. Select the picture you want and then
6. Upload Image (Note: profile picture best dimension size is 55pxl H x 75 pxl W
and save it at 72 pxl per inch )

How do I design my profile page?
1. Go to MY ACCOUNT (upper toolbar)
2. Select SETTINGS
3. Click DESIGN MY PROFILE
4. Select VIEW PROFILE LAYOUT GUIDE
5. Click your mouse on the LAYOUT GUIDE to make it larger and easier to read.
6. Choose BACKGROUND. (Note: if you choose a background, and it does not show up,
you need to select TRANSPARENT for the BACKGROUND MAIN.)
7. CAUTION: While you are working on your profile page, be very careful not to hit the link
that takes you back to the original design. This will default back to original settings.
You will lose all your hard work. This link is close to the VIEW MY PAGE link.

NOTE: Pre-made My Space layouts do not work with the RFN CSS codes and do cause problems with layouts not displaying correctly.

How do I add comments to a page?
1. Type your message or paste your graphic (or both) in the COMMENT Box and SUBMIT.
2. Selecting the GUEST BOOK link at the top of the profile page takes you to the COMMENT Box also.

NOTE: COMMENT Boxes are for comments or graphics only. Placing Spam in the comment box area will result in a warning to you, and repeated violations can cause your RFN membership to be banned. If you wish to advertise your business, please do so within
your signature, profile theme, blogs, classified, ads, bulletins, traffic exchange, or if you have an actual event, this can also be placed in the EVENT option.

How do I add graphics to comments?
1. There are many sites offering graphics.
2. When you find the comment/picture/graphic you want, with most sites, you click the box where the code is.
3. Select ALL and click COPY.
4. Go to the COMMENT section of your friend’s page and click PASTE.

NOTE: please visit our Help & Support Forum for a list of
sites that offer graphics.

How do I send someone a private message?
1. On each profile page is a CONTACT PANEL with the following:
SEND MESSAGE
INSTANT MESSAGE
ADD TO FRIENDS
INVITE TO GROUPS
ADD TO FAVORITES
BLOCK USER.
2. Select SEND MESSAGE.
3. Enter your message and subject inside the boxes and click SUBMIT.

NOTE: Rotatrix Friends Network’s Internal Message System is
not to be used for SPAMMING other members. Again, f you wish to advertise your business, please do so within your signature, Profile Theme, Blogs, Classified Ads, Bulletins,
Traffic Exchange, etc.

How do I add Friends?
1. On each Profile Page is a CONTACT PANEL, with the following:
SEND MESSAGE
INSTANT MESSAGE
ADD TO FRIENDS
INVITE TO GROUPS
ADD TO FAVORITES
BLOCK USER
2. Select ADD TO FRIENDS.
3. A message will be sent to the member who will accept or reject this request.

How do I invite other Friends to join Rotatrix Friends Network?
1. Go to YOUR ACCOUNT page.
2. At the bottom of this page is a tab: INVITE.
3. This will link you to a site where you can enter individual e-mail addresses, or even import your e-mail addresses using of the e-mail Gateways listed.

NOTE: Please do not SPAM anyone. The use of this invitation
form is to invite people with whom you have personal contact.

RFN REFERRALS & FRIENDSHIP POINTS

Where do I see My Referrals?
1. Go to MY ACCOUNT page.
2. Go to the ACTIVITY CENTER, which is located on the right-hand side of that page.
3. Go to the BUSINESS CENTER.
4. Click on the "MY EARNINGS" link.
5. Click on REFERRALS.

How do I earn Friendship Points?
1. FRIENDSHIP POINTS are earned by being active at Rotatrix Friends’ Network.
2. The amount of FRIENDSHIP POINTS is according to the accomplished task.

• Posting Comments - 1 point
• Submitting a blog or poll - 1 point
• Commenting on a blog - 1 point
• Viewing sites in the Traffic Exchange - 1 point
• Viewing PTC ads in the Traffic Exchange - 1 point
• Uploading photos to the gallery - 1 point
• Posting comments in the gallery - 1 point
• Uploading music - 1 point
• Listing an event or creating a Quiz- 1 point

How do I update Friendship Points?
1. Go to MY ACCOUNT page.
2. Go to the ACTIVITY CENTER (on the right-hand side of that page.)
3. Go to BUSINESS CENTER.
4. Register. You must have a minimum of 25 points first.
5. The first time you register you must use the defaulted
password which is password (all in lowercase letters).
6. You will be able to change your password once you have entered the center.
7. Go to "MY EARNINGS". From there you will see a banner across
the top:

How do I create a Group?
1. Go to MAIN Site Menu and select GROUPS.
2. Create a GROUP by entering the necessary information,
selecting the correct category and create your own GROUP.

How do I invite members to join my Group?
1. Once you have created your GROUP, you will be able to select
from your friends list and send them an invitation.
2. Also you can send a member a GROUP invite when you are on their profile page by selecting in the contact panel INVITE TO GROUP.

How do I upload photos to the Gallery?
1. Go to the MAIN Site Menu and select GALLERY.
2. Upload your images. Maximum size is 3000kb.
3. Or, go to MY ACCOUNT page, select SUBMIT ITEMS and then
choose UPLOAD PICTURE.

How do I create a Poll?
1. Go to MAIN Site Menu top toolbar and select CREATE A POLL.
2. Complete information and SUBMIT.

How do I upload music?
1. Go to MAIN Site Menu top toolbar and select MUSIC
2. Select CREATE ALBUM or UPLOAD SONG.
3. Complete the information and follow instructions.

How do I submit a Blog?
1. Go to top toolbar MAIN Site Menu and select WRITE NEW BLOG.
2. Enter your text and SUBMIT.

How do I post a Classified Ad?
1. Go to MAIN Site Menu top toolbar
2. Select CREATE LISTING LINK
3. Enter your ad information.
4. Choose the correct category.
5. Create your listing.

How do I create a Bulletin?
1. Go to MAIN Site Menu top toolbar
2. Select BULLETINS LINK
3. On right hand side is a box with options "View Bulletins, My Bulletins, Post a Bulletin. Click Post a Bulletin.
4. Fill in Subject and content and Submit bulletin.

How do I create an Event?
1. Go to MAIN Site Menu top toolbar
2. Select EVENTS LINK
3. Click on ADD NEW EVENT at toolbar
4. Once there, complete information concerning your event.

NOTE: When placing an event here, please make sure it is an actual event with a date, location, etc. This is not a SPAM AREA.

How do I create a QUIZ?
1. Go to MAIN Site Menu top toolbar
2. Select QUIZZES LINK
3. Click CREATE A NEW QUIZ
4. Read information given once there and then create your quiz.

How do I challenge someone to one of the 750 free games in the Arcade?
1. There is a challenge link by each game.
2. Choose the game you want to play
3. Enter your friend’s user name
4. SUBMIT
5. The person being challenged gets a Private Message
6. From within the e-mail, they can accept the challenge.
7. Once they play the game, the one who challenged them, gets an e-mail of the other’s score.
8. Winner is determined by final score.

How do I find my favorite game?
Right now the arcade is not set up to save your game within RFN. The best tip to saving your game is to go to bookmarks, create a file for RFN arcade games, and when you find a game that you really enjoy playing, bookmark that game and place it in the file.

NOTE: The arcade categories are now in the process of being organized.

What does Page Monetization mean and how to I benefit?
Page monetization means that if you have a website or blog where
you are able to insert adcode - you can earn revenue by
utilizing RFN Adclicks.

What is the difference between an Advertiser and a Publisher?
A Publisher is if you have your own site (including RFN,
MySpace, etc) where you can place advertiser code (like Google
adsense, except it is through Rotatrix and is called AdClicks).

What are AdClicks?
Adclicks is a fast and easy way for our members to earn money by
displaying ads on their webpages and/or blogs. You will earn
money whenever your visitors click on these Ads. Rotatrix
Adclicks is still in beta mode and upon finalization will be
comparable to Google Adsense, MSN Ad Center or Yahoo publishers
network.

Please read the information on setting up your Publisher and/or Advertiser account for further instructions.

How do I Register as a Publisher?
1. Go to MY ACCOUNTS.
2. Go to ACTIVITY CENTER (on the right-hand side of that page)
3. Go to BUSINESS CENTER
4. Sign up as a Publisher.
5. Select the code you want.
6. Go to your PROFILE SETTINGS and paste code in one of the boxes (ie, movies, music, books, etc.)

How do I Register as an Advertiser?
1. Go to MY ACCOUNTS.
2. Go to ACTIVITY CENTER (on the right-hand side of that page)
3. Go to BUSINESS CENTER
4. Sign up as an Advertiser.
5. Create your ad.
6. Save your ad.
7. Fund your account to pay for your unique clicks/visits. Note: if registering as BOTH Advertiser and Publisher, you need a different e-mail for each.

How do I add Google Adsense to my page?
1. Click on MY ACCOUNT
2. Go to the BUSINESS CENTER (right hand side of page)
3. Click Business Center link
4. Under Business Center toolbar, click MyAds & Passwords
5. Register. To start off, place the actual word of password in all lowercase as your password. (you can change it once in there)
6. Place your adsense code in the box available they gave you when you signed up for
Adsense.

Where is Traffic Exchange?
1. Go to MY ACCOUNT.
2. Go to ACTIVITY CENTER (on the right-hand side of that page).
3. Go to BUSINESS CENTER.
4. Go to Traffic Exchange
5. You can promote other business opportunities, by listing your website and banners within TRAFFIC EXCHANGE.
6. By viewing other websites, you will earn credits that you
allocate to your sites, so they can be viewed by other members.
7. Additional credits can be purchased.

How do I view sites in the Traffic Exchange?
1. Click the Surf2Earn Link.
2. Websites will be shown for 30 seconds.
3. Remember to select the correct color to receive credit.

How do I add sites to the Traffic Exchange?
1. Click the MY SITES link.
2. Select ADD NEW SITE.
3. Enter your site information, select APPLY.
4. Select the CONFIRM THIS SITE before it is ready for viewing.
5. You can list 100 sites.
6. Before your site will be rotated, you need to allocate credits.
7. Select ALLOCATE CREDITS TO SITE LINK.
8. Allocate your credit, select APPLY.

How do I add Banners?
1. Select the MY BANNERS link.
2. Create your banner.
3. You will need two (2) URLs.
4. The TARGET LINK URL is the website where you want the
members to go if they click on your banner.
5. The BANNER URL is where is banner is hosted.
6. ALT TEXT is the test that will be seen when you hover your
mouse over the banner.
7. Enter NUMBER OF SHOWS, and select APPLY.

What are PTC Adverts?
1. PTC (pay-to-click) adverts are located with your TRAFFIC EXCHANGE.
2. Select MY PTC ADVERTS
3. Create PTC ad.
4. Enter required information, select APPLY.

How do Free Members earn Cash?
1. Both Free Members and Gold Members earn by generating FRIENDSHIP POINTS.
2. These FRIENDSHIP POINTS can be exchanged for cash.
3. FRIENDSHIP POINTS can be accumulated as you go.
4. Every 100 FRIENDSHIP POINTS you earn will have an assigned monetary amount. This amount will fluctuate monthly and will increase in value as our site grows. At the end of each month, you will be paid based on the number of FRIENDSHIP POINTS you have generated and the revenue which our site has generated through the participation of our sponsors and partners.
5. Both Free Members and Gold Members can be paid $0.20 for each record they hold in ARCADE GAMES.
